Gilding movables was one of the main attributes in Louis XIV style, but by time furniture designer André Charles Boulle, added his signature to history by changing this attribute to Boulle work type of marquetry –where veneering furniture by brass instead.
Casque commode with cabriole legs, having Boulle work type alongside, include two drawers with a master scene centered on them for a natural landscape, and marble-topped.
